ARRI’s Daylight Compact 6000 Plus HMI Fresnel is the choice of discerning professionals who need a great deal of light at minimal weight. Its clean modular construction and IP 23 rated weather-resistant design hint at this light’s carefully wrought design features. The wire-guarded 16.5″ Fresnel lens is part of a hinged swing-away door with integral accessory holders that enables rapid lamp swapping. Front and back focusing knobs make beam adjustments easy regardless of placement and there’s a focus position indicator so that you can easily match settings to other lights. The M18 is an open-face, lensless fixture that combines the characteristics of a PAR and a Fresnel, creating diverging rays of light to produce a very crisp shadow. It can operate on a 20A circuit. The ARRI M40 HMI Head is a location work horse. Whenever you need to punch light through a silk or bounce light off a reflective surface, an M40 is the ultimate answer. At the design stage, the interaction of lamp, reflector and converter lens was taken into consideration and computer simulated, resulting in unmatched performance. The M40 can be fitted with a 2,500 or 4,000W single-ended HMI lamp, making it a very versatile lighting fixture. The M40 uses lensless MAX technology to combine the characteristics of a Fresnel and PAR source. With a focus range of 18 – 52°, normally only achieved with supplementary lenses, the M40 outperforms the brightness of its predecessor, the ARRISUN 40/25 by approximately 30% while throwing an even beam with sharp shadows. Innovations include CCL, which compensates for power loss when using long cables and Cross Cooling which separates the electronics from the lamp housing, thus ensuring greater longevity of the head and lamp.

ARRI M8 HMI-800W LAMP- w/EB MAX High Speed Ballast

The smallest and lightest fixture in the M-Series, the M8 HMI Lamp Head from ARRI uses lensless MAX technology to combine the characteristics of a Fresnel and PAR source. With a focus range of 15-62°, normally only achieved with supplementary lenses, the M8’s output more closely resembles that of a 1000W or 1200W HMI Fresnel but with a far more compact form factor. That translates to more light output with less physical labor and heavy breakable glass. Innovations include CCL, which compensates for power loss when using long cables and Cross Cooling which separates the electronics from the lamp housing and allows safe tilting of the head up to 90 degrees.
